How to translate by image
- Upload the picture that contains the words. You do not paste a sentence first.

- Download the translated picture. Translation can take about a minute.
Picture formats and size
JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 8 MB.
The result is a new picture, not a text file pasted under the original.
Each network can translate 8 pictures per UTC day. The count resets at 00:00 UTC.
What the translated picture keeps
Translating by image generates a new picture with the text in the language you chose. It does not keep the original pixels, and it does not return the words as a document. Faces, layout, and small text can change. A word can be missed or spelled wrong. A transparent background in a PNG or WebP stays transparent.
We do not store the picture. Refreshing the page clears the download. The picture is sent to OpenAI, which may keep an abuse-monitoring log for up to 30 days.
